Lighthouse Point & Bahamas Itineraries Revealed in 2024
In summer 2024, guests sailing on the Disney Magic from Fort Lauderdale will get to visit a brand-new private Bahamian destination on Eleuthera named Lighthouse Point. This destination was created with families in mind, and is infused with the energy and color of Bahamian art. It also has a commitment to conservation at its core.
June 2024 will see the first Lighthouse Point sailings. Disney Vacation Club members will be able to sail on two cruises at the same time, and visit Lighthouse Point as well as Castaway Cay.
Disney Treasure is introducing a new theme for adventure.
Disney will add Disney Treasure to their fleet in 2024. This ship will feature Aladdin, Jasmine and a new design that is inspired by adventure.

The ship's 3-deck atrium will be inspired by the design of the Disney Wish. In the ship’s Grand Hall, you will find a central statue featuring Jasmine and Aladdin.
More Adventures in Alaska & the Caribbean
In the summer of 2024, Disney will begin offering sailings to Alaska on their Disney Wonder, bringing more opportunities for guests to explore the state. Itineraries with stops at Skagway, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point will be available. Guests can also experience the coastal rainforest.
The Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish have additional itineraries, which will allow them to cruise to sun-kissed Caribbean islands. One of these itineraries is a round trip from Port Canaveral to The Bahamas, which will include a visit to Castaway Cay.
A New Private Bahamas Destination is On the Way
Disney revealed plans this spring for a second private Bahamas Island. This new destination will be located at the southern tip Eleuthera and will be part of a partnership with Disney’s Castaway Cay resort.
Lighthouse Point will now be the name of the resort. The resort will have family-friendly activities, as well as eco-themed experiences. The resort will also offer unique programming in its Arts and Cultural Pavilion, as well as a number of shore excursions developed with local tour operators.
