Lighthouse Point & Bahamas Itineraries Revealed in 2024
Summer 2024: Guests sailing on Disney Magic from Fort Lauderdale can visit Lighthouse Point, an exclusive Bahamian location on Eleuthera. This destination is designed with families in mind and infused with the color and energy of Bahamian artistry. It also has a commitment to conservation at its core.
June 2024 will see the first Lighthouse Point sailings. Disney Vacation Club members will be able to sail on two cruises at the same time, and visit Lighthouse Point as well as Castaway Cay.
A New Adventure Theme Will Be on Disney Treasure
Disney Treasure will be their sixth cruise ship. It will join the fleet in 2024. This ship will have a new design concept that's inspired by adventure, and it will feature Aladdin and Jasmine on its magic carpet.

The ship will feature a 3-deck atrium that is inspired by a gilded castle, similar to the Disney Wish. In the ship’s Grand Hall, you will find a central statue featuring Jasmine and Aladdin.
More Adventures in Alaska & the Caribbean
Disney will start offering sailings to Alaska from the Disney Wonder in the summer 2024. This will give guests even more opportunities to experience the state. Itineraries with stops at Skagway, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point will be available. Guests can also experience the coastal rainforest.
The Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish will have more itineraries. They will be cruising to sun-kissed Caribbean Islands and The Bahamas. This itinerary includes a round-trip trip from Port Canaveral in the Bahamas and Castaway Cay.
A New Private Bahamas Destination is On the Way
This spring, Disney announced plans to develop a second private island in the Bahamas. This new destination will be located at the southern tip Eleuthera and will be part of a partnership with Disney’s Castaway Cay resort.
Lighthouse Point will become the resort's new name. It will offer family-friendly activities and eco-themed experiences. It will also feature unique programming in the Arts and Cultural Pavilion and a variety shore excursions that have been developed in partnership with local tour companies.
